WHAT IS PILONIDAL SINUS?
Pilonidal Sinus is small tunnel under the skin, most commonly seen at the top of buttocks or lower back. Sometimes this sinus is associated with severe pain, blood discharge and foul-smelling pus.
It is most commonly seen in people with long sitting posture jobs and presents of hair in that particular tissue. Sometimes presence of moisture or wet is also responsible for development of Pilonidal Sinus.
